Warnings!

Read this carefully

  • Required Tools: Essential tools needed (The complete list can be found in the bill of materials:
    • Soldering iron
    • 3D printer (preferably one with good tolerances) with a bed volume of at least 200mmx200mmx200mm
  • Support Requirements: Not all parts are designed for supportless printing. Some components may require extensive support structures during printing.
  • Tolerance Issues: Tolerance is a significant consideration in product design. Since most of the mechanical parts are large 3D-printed components, tolerance issues may in rare cases arise, meaning parts may not fit properly. While we do not have a comprehensive overview of all FDM 3D printers and their tolerances, our Bambu Lab printer, which offers higher precision, has shown no issues. We expect most of the parts to work just fine on your printer, however we just wish to warn you that this is always possible. In the worst-case scenario, you may need to offset mating/interfering walls by a fraction of a millimeter to ensure proper fitment. Luckily, using Onshape, you can alter the design easily if needed! Sharing your experiences with the community, including your printer model and any issues encountered, can be helpful.
  • Electronic Wiring: No electronic wiring is visible in the 3D model screenshots below. You will need to follow the wiring scheme and use your brain. 😉
  • Raspberry micro SD-card: There is a slight chance that your micro SD-card (containing the software and Moody code) is corrupted when abruptly removing the HDMI-box power. Always correctly turn off your raspberry before removing the power.
