Mycelium Substrate
You can cultivate the substrate yourself, but the easiest option is to purchase a pre-made mycelium cake.
Examples of ready-to-fruit cakes:
- Oyster Mushroom Substrate: Large Organic Oyster Mushroom
- Yellow Oyster Mushroom Substrate: Organic Golden Oyster Mushroom
- Pink Oyster Mushroom Substrate: North Spore Organic Pink Oyster Mushroom
- Lion’s Mane Substrate: inbloom Large Organic Lion's Mane Mushroom
Software
- Arduino IDE: You'll need this software to upload the code onto your Arduino NANO.
- Slicing Software: Use this to print the parts. We prefer Orca Slicer, but Bambulab's native slicer or Cura Slicer are also excellent choices.
- CAD Modeling Software: Depending on your need to adapt certain files (e.g., for tolerance issues), you'll need CAD modeling software. We recommend Fusion 360 or Onshape as free and excellent options.
